Pastor John received his calling to serve the Lord at an early age. He has regularly served in ministry since he was 17 years old. This includes Christian camps, Christian education, Youth Ministry work, VBS, Local and Foreign Missions, and teaching Adult Sunday School classes. He served on staff as Family Life Minister in San Antonio. At Bono, he served as Youth Pastor from 2013 to 2020.  Pastor John was called as bi-vocational pastor in January 2021 and has been serving in that role since that time.

Barry is a very talented musician, as he uses his guitar and voice to lead others to the throne of worship.  Barry is oftentimes called on to lead worship for special events at Bono, as well as community events with his family. We are so happy to have him lead the Music Ministry at Bono Baptist!

Caedmon Knapp serves our youth as Youth Teacher on Wednesdays and Sunday mornings. Caedmon grew up in the Children's and Youth Ministries here at Bono and is now a graduate from Dallas Baptist University, with a major in Politics, Philosophy & Religion.

 In addition to teaching our Bono Youth, Caedmon has served as sponsor at youth camp and D-Now. Caedmon faithfully serves at Bono where needed. He has chaired the Music Minister Search Committee and served on the Pastor Search Committee. 

We are so glad to have Caedmon as part of our Youth Teaching Team.

My name is Amy Vaughn. I am married to Charlie Vaughn and have three beautiful children: two boys and one girl. I graduated from Cleburne in 2001. From the time I was 20 years old, I started volunteering in Cleburne schools. I found that my favorite place to volunteer in the school is the library. I love to read, especially to the little ones! For about five years, I babysat for different family members in my home. My family and I have been members of Bono Baptist for six years. Five of those years I have been teaching children on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. In June of 2019, I became the Children's Ministry Director of Bono Baptist Church. I love teaching children about Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. I feel blessed to be a part of the Bono family.

Paul is serving as Deacon Chairman and is involved in many ministries at Bono. He helps teach the Youth Group on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Paul also serves as sponsor for youth camps and youth ministry trips in the summers, along with being involved in community outreach projects. Paul also assists with the monthly Men's Breakfast events.

Casey is one of our Deacons and helps lead Men's Breakfast events every month. He is also the man to call for all things regarding Building & Grounds. If something needs attention, he'll get the job done!

We welcome Sharla as our Women's Ministry Director. She is a wife, mother and grandmother and loves her church very much. In addition to directing the Women's Ministry, Sharla serves in our Blessing Bag Ministry, offers help in our kitchen, and assists in many other areas where she loves to serve. Welcome, Sharla!

Norman is a long-time member of Bono Baptist. He has a history of helping others in the Name of Jesus, including a counseling ministry, as well as serving as a missionary to Africa for a number of years with his wife, Beverly. Throughout the years at Bono, Norm has served as Adult Sunday School Teacher and has assisted with a variety of Mission projects with Beverly. Norman has also served as guest preacher from time to time.

Beverly is the Missions Coordinator at Bono. She oversees the monthly "Mission Focus," segment of our worship service every second Sunday, highlighting a particular mission and giving reports and updates. Beverly also assists her husband, Norman, on Sunday mornings in the Adult Sunday School Class. 

Teri and her family came to Bono in 1999. Her children, Ashley and Clint, came to Jesus' saving grace in the Bono Youth group teaching and D- Now. Teri has been Prayer Ministry Leader for 3 years.

Lisa is the Director of the Bono Loving Hands ministry.  An extension of Loving Hands is the "Blessing Bags." Bags filled with healthy snacks are prepared for children in our community who have food insecurity. Donations are welcome to help fund this outreach ministry. Glenda is the Leader of Bono Believers, a group that has provided lunch for students during the fall and spring semesters at Hill College. She also leads a group in packing the Blessing Bags through the Loving Hands Ministry.

Kathy is Director of the Bono Food Pantry. She has served faithfully in this ministry for many years. Kathy also helps provide meals and side dishes for special events at Bono, as well as keeping the Lord's House neat and tidy.

Susan serves Bono in all aspects of our church finances. From receiving contributions to preparing financial reports, she does it all! We are so blessed to have Susan on the Bono staff!
