- Goliath: a Philistine (an enemy of God), large, threatening, loud, defiant, intimidating, has powerful weapons and feels undefeatable
- Saul: non a covenant thinker - dismayed and greatly afraid, little in his own eyes, doesn't act in authority, has confidence in circumstance and not God's promise - Saul has forgotten God's covenant!
- David arrives and learns about Goliath.
- David talks with Saul.
- David is a covenant thinker and has victory over the enemy, killing Goliath with his slingshot, a stone, and the power of God.
We are called to lean on the power of God and His promises for us and to NOT give in to fear. Claim His power over anything in your life where you struggle. Be a covenant thinker. Give everything to Him and be blessed.
