The Whole Armor of God - "You May Stand - Part II"

  • Belt of Truth
  • Breastplate of Righteousness
  • Shoes of Peace/Readiness - ... as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
  • Shield of Faith - In all circumstances, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one...

Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

We put on Jesus himself.

  • He is our Belt of Truth.
  • He is our Breastplate of Righteousness.
  • He is our Shoes of Peace.
  • He is our Shield of Faith to extinguish the fiery darts.
  • He is our Helmet of Salvation.
  • He is the Sword, the Word of Truth.

With ALL the armor of God, we take our stand. Our weapons have divine power to destroy strongholds. Hallelujah! As children of God, we have what we need to fight in this battle. With those weapons, we STAND!
